Sandra Ama Ross is a proud first-generation Liberian American, Colorado-based educator, and children’s book author. Sandra is passionate about her faith, diversity, and representation in children’s books. She encourages children to be confident and believe that they can do all things. Sandra enjoys writing, painting, shopping, and spending time with her family and wonderful husband, Justin. The purpose of Sandra’s work is to glorify God while helping to build children's confidence and grow their love of reading.

Sandra received her Bachelor's Degree in Inclusive Elementary Education from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She has Endorsements in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (K-12); Elementary Education (K-6); and Special Education Generalist (5-21). She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Literacy Education.
